Errr, the female should mouth brood the fry. When she is ready to release them (usually at about 2-3weeks) she will. However, if you let the female hold the eggs for a full term, u will likely get fewer fry.

Many of the breeders here in Oz milk the female for the fry after 12-14days in the mouth. They should be large enough to take crushed flake food by then.
