If you want to keep the filter on the back of the tank you can get a divider for the tank. It will be hard but put the grown guppys on the side where the water intake pipe is and the babys on the other. The dividers you get for tanks should be a fine mesh or have holes to allow water to still flow threw it but keep the fish sperate.
