you can blend your own ingredient, it is up to you, depend on your fish like them or not...
for my own experience, i bought decap bbs from US with $$$ but my fish never bother to eat, they prefer $ food...
but according to most of the oversea breeder, they prefer bbs, this is the best food for guppy...
Abt the filter, i think you can see that i m using cheap cheap guppy filter box, it does not make big different, this is also depend on person to person... how often do you change water??!!
