Hi KG, I don't think this gonna apply for the newbie right? You are experience guy and of coz the water parameter is under yr control. And I don't think a newbie able to do that... If yes, they gonna went thru lot of failures and errors. What i said is apply to a newbie who just going to start the planted tank.

I have the shrimp tank as well. Beside feeding the shrimp n top up water. I nvr trim the plants or scrap the algae on glass. coz the tank with mosses and nana petite only. There is no algae on mosses n nana. But the algae on glass...leave for shrimp to clean it.


but then...this is not consider as fuss free tank right? Since we still need to top up water, srap algae and feeding... but low maintenance lar.
