first of all new here not sure what lfs presents or what it means but from what i know... i usually bought guppies from pet shops and breed them in a separate tank and later on i separate the fries from the parents and never mix the parents and the grown up fries back together.Usually the parents died in like 5mths later but seems the fries manage to extend their life more than a years old.There was once i bought 4 pairs of guppies and in the end left one only.But quite a miracle that till now dat only one male guppy is still alive and it is 1 and a half years old.Not sure why it can live that long.One thing is that the aquarium is in my room which is air conditioned .I guess that is why that little fella is still swimming lively around my fish tanks instead of being flushed into the wc.
