Well the documented lifespan of a guppy is 1-3 years old. So it depends on the environment it's living in and the type of strain. One interesting note though. Guppies seemed to have shorter lifespan in warmer waters and longer life in colder waters. Strange huh but that's documented. So what does this mean, guppies have shorter lifespan in the equator countries i.e Malaysia.
