Ive had a marbled angelfish for about 3.5 years and now he is showing some signs of disease, sluggish, gasping, fin degeneration, small circular red lines on his sides and a reddish hue to his dorsal head. He hasnt eaten in about 5 days, even brine shrimp and spends his days up at the surface, head up sort of listless and gasping. Ive treated him for ick and parasites (the gasping has improved after the malachite green and formalin but still present) and will be treating for hemmor. septicemia..... Thanks Mark

Update,, well he died shortly after I put the tetracycline in the tank,now the question is should I continue the 5 day course to prophylax the other fish. My Ammonia levels, pH, buffering capacity and water hardness were fine. Will my charcoal filter (magnum 350) eliminate the medicine? How long should I wait before attempting to add another angel?
