Guppy poses the greatest challenge in my fish keeping record. Never before I faced with so many deaths in a short time. My previous challenge was discus where I had to give up (in the schooling days) because unable to replenish the stock since it's sooo expensive even for a mediocre discus.
Luckily LFS guppies are quite cheap. If not I might have burnt almost 1k in my pocket. Still trying......so hope you to!!!!  |
The present generation of guppys are not very hardy (maybe the way they were raise to grow to a big size with big tail). I have been keeping guppies or my life and the small type just thrive in any water condition that other fish will not. But now when I bought the present generation, they dont even last a month!
Now it seems easier to keep goldfish than fancy guppy.
