Thanks for sharing such preciousssss info with us all here. I have tried decapsulating brineshrimp eggs quite sometime ago, and it was quite a success. And yes, i agreed with you that bad or expired eggs have very very low hatching rate or it won't hatch at all after decapsulating them. So, make sure you have eggs fresh from the can.
