Today I have tried to mate my fancy betta (long flowing tail) but the male is so aggresive, within 1/2 hour the female fins have been shreded like hell. How can you leave the female there for 1-4 days as suggested by kohaku she might end up floating upside down . So whats the length of time should you see they couple up? Angel or discus breeding are much nicer so peaceful.
