Thanks for your reply. I intend to get a 'proper' sized tank in about a year so space won't be a problem then. I'm so attatched my my oranda now that I would never see him in cramped conditions! Your suggestion sounds good - I think that would make a nice display. Would the oranda be ok at 75F cos I've heard that they do well in warm water.
