hi, u can try Channa gachua ( around 6inch from wild caugh )... personally i breed Channa gachua before during my final year project.
It is a mouth brooder....the male keeping the eggs........its easy to breed once u find out the pair......remember to cover ur tank properly dude.... if not u will properly find "Kiam hu" (salted fish) near your house
