hi there. just to share my 2 cents worth. taking care of monos is fairly easy if you add the right amount of aquarium salt to yr tank. i've had a mono sabae for abt 4 months now and he has increased tremendously in size (yes he does look like an ikan bawal). when i got him he was about 3.5 cm and grew to a large 9cm. he did not disturb any of the other fish in my tank (gouramis, loaches, angel fish, mollies) and ate flake food and pellets quite happily, although he loved frozen bloodworms.

i recently added a 3cm argenteus to my tank and they get along fine. i got the argenteus from AI this recent weekend, fyi.
