Here's a site with Pictures and description of the various wild bettas. Many of which come from Malaysia but seldom seen in Malaysian fish shops.

There is a following of Betta Imbellis among the betta splendens ppl though.... I've got a Copper Imbellis female. Don't have a male.

Here in Australia, the wild bettas are getting a bit of an exposure as one of the big wholesalers have started importing 'em.
