Hi Dom! Welcome back to the Malawi community! :P

Malawi Big Haps?
- Do consider the Fossochromis Rostratus - it's a one-of-a-kind Hap with patterns you don't see in any other Hap. Apparently grows to about 12+ inches in capitivity.
- The Champsochromis caeruleus (Malawi Trout) is also another neat looking fish, but it apparently can grow pretty big in captivity (15+ inches).
- Nimbochromis-types have never been my cup-of-tea, but probably you might like them. 10+ inches in captivity.
- Cyrtocara moorii (Malawi Dolphin). Nice hump. Peaceful. Pretty big at 10+ inches.

If you want more fish in that 6-footer, you'll have to go for Medium-sized Haps. Some genus you can look for:
- Copadichromis (relatively peaceful)
- Lethrinops (pretty rare in KL)
- Otopharynx (relatively peaceful)
- Placidochromis electra / phenoticulus
- Protomelas (Red Empress, other types/variants)
- Electric Blue Hap (very common)

Aulonocara are Peacocks and are peaceful so watch who are their tank-mates. Beautiful colours, but the females are very drab. Again, lots of choices but few are available in M'sia.

P.S. I thought you were selling your tank?
