Quality of blue dempseys are very variable. The short of the long is that I've not seen a good quality blue dempsey in Malaysia for quite a while already.... Seems that our importers aren't willing to pay the price for premium quality fish, so we're stuck with the insipid poor quality fish.

I know someone on this forum that's trying to bring in some quality dempseys but the small numbers just don't make it viable to import.
