guilty!

Growth so far is not very good. Rotala rountifolia have holes here and there. Lack of certain nutrients perhaps? Nitrogen? K!
I am suspecting that light is too bright and nutrient uptake is very fast or my CO2 kong out while I get it for refill (3 days - due to neglect). I am leaning to the CO2 as a more probably cause now.

Also, glosso seems to grow tall. 2 possibilities is the yamato is digging them out or the light is a problem. I have lots of floating glosso so yamato could be the bigger suspect right now.

To narrow down the possible cause/result, I will
1) catch yamatos and put elsewhere(I have lots of these from my previous algae infestation time).
2) replant some glosso and see what the growth is like
3) dose a more generous and consistent amount of NPK and traces. I think consistancy is the problem.
4) CO2 is ok now.

Any suggestion and experience, maybe can share. One possible cause is the lack of red spectrum. I remember yt told me that he notice his MH tank, plants grows tall as well. Maybe yt if you are around, you can share your experience with us.

Will post if I manage to stay consistent and post the result.
hmmm,

looking at it, the plants grow tall because of the throw of the light from a spot source.

that's probably why some mh come with supplement fl/pl to get more even light and soften shadows.

anyway will be more conclusive once i get my lights sorted out properly...
