There's a BIG aquarium plant farm in Seremban. The problem is that not many Malaysians care about keeping water plants and also because planting is not as simple as just thowing a couple of plants and expecting them to grow in a tank. All the CO2 injection systems are currently just too expensive and ppl are not appreciative of the amount of work that has to be put into a planted tank to get a nice tank. I currently use the DIY CO2 injection method and good lighting and daily fertilisation and addition of cleated minerals for the plants. Here in Australia, the planted aquarium scene is much more vibrant, but guess where all the plants are coming from? Malaysia!
Zen Water Gardens in Taman Desa also deal with planted aquaria (other than koi) and they do planted tank installations and maintenance for offices and hotels and they've got a superb 8ftlong planted aquaria in their office. Would be worth a visit. Harry Ho (of Zen WG) could probably get you all the plants/equiptment if you're interested in doing up a planted aquarium.
