This is in my plant (and I guess algae) growing tank mainly to consume the nitrogen from goldfish in the lower tank (sump). Sort of a plant filter experiment...
The algae is relatively easy to remove manually and even 'pearls'
(it gets some direct sunlight in the morning).
Initially had green water in the tank for a couple of weeks but it suddenly disappeared one fine day and has not returned.
