i think i may be wrong in id. looks very slimey... more like bga but not the colour of typical bga...anybody? looks like a combo algae...slime/smear algae on stringy thing like staghorn or is that your hg?

have you been poking in the base fert? overdose/leak[from base fert] Fe normally get BBA. i notice BBA always starts on wood...

from xp aerating when photoperiod off is a good way to reduce algae probs...
BB[beneficial bacteria] are aerobic so they can take more of the ammonium out of the system.
