Import fees? not anymore for my side... and I've imported my own before and I know the cost...

So far, Japanese Ranchu is still rare in the market and there's only a handful of people able import the fish and a few can consider monopolising the market. We don't want to see that to happen therefore we are finding ways to reduce the price of it so, everyone can enjoy the hobby. Some people doing for profit and we are not... sourcing of fish and price barrier is always the reason people running away from Japanese Ranchu. My group don't want to see that to happen.

The market price for the japanese ranchu makes me laugh. The mark up is so high that you won't believe.... I know someone paid more than 500USD for a single baby ranchu. more than 10 times of our cost (my group's fish) direct from Japan INCLUDING air freight charges.

There will be at least few hundred of Japanese ranchu coming in this year (mixed grades) and will be given away or sold in very low price to the hobbist (priced according to Japanese market minus the freight cost) to promote this fish. Anyway, MyBirdShit and Pilik-Palak knows the whole story isn't it? Only condition is to follow the Japanese way of raising the fish... same old story, throw away all your many many years of goldfish knowledge and starts as fresh... there's no point to have such beautiful fish and keep it in a small aqaurium....

That's why i told quocbaoma93 that he has a great future to be one of the top Japanese Ranchu hobbist if he starts early enough to learn the proper technique.

Our mind is mostly being corrupted by informations from fish shop and websites... knowledge direct from breeders and fish shop is totally different.
