Unbelievable, this is going to be the 7th edition of our discus contest and the theme for this month is BACK TO BASIC.

We would like to invite members to post up their precious discus pictures of TURQUIOSE strain, such as Classic turq., CheckerBoard turq., Mosaic turq., Tiger turq., or any discus that display turquoise characteristic ..

This month's "THE BEST DISCUS GALLERY CONTEST" shall start from today - until 30-4-2006.
Date to Vote = 1/5/2006-25/5/2006

Prize Giving ceremony thereafter, end of May 2006 (to be confirmed later)

Note = all prizes subject to change.

(RULES)
a) Each Member can post a MAX of 2 Pictures of DIFFERENT Discus for prizes. Up to 2 pictures of the SAME discus from different angles/sides are allowed, but only the picture of the same discus with the highest vote count will be taken into vote counting.
b) Picture File Name should follow nickname with number like "ghkiat1" and "ghkiat2", especially when you are submitting 2 different discus.
c) Any member of myfishforum can vote and pick their winner(s).
d) The post of the type or strain of discus picture must follow the THEME of the month or risk being disqualified.
e) The discus and picture(s) must belong to you [if taken by friend-use with permission of].
f) Discus to be photographed in profile [from the side] to provide maximum view or don't wonder why you don't get any votes in the poll.
g) Winner(s) from the Klang Valley area should come to collect the prizes personally on the designated Prize Presentation date.

(Judging Criteria Guidelines)
1) Comply with theme of contest for that particular month.
2) Quality of fish-shape, health, pattern/colour.
3) Quality of photograph, properly exposed, sharp, composition.
4) The "WoW" factor

Winners will be decided by members of myfishforum during the polling period as mentioned above.

Prizes or awards are to be collected by Winners during the proposed Prize Giving Ceremony. However, for outstation/overseas Winner(s), the organiser will make arrangement to send the Prizes/Awards to the designated address given by the Winner(s).
