hi,

Thanks guys for the feedback.

Frankie,
I have been using ECA for 3 months now, 10 drops 2-3 times a week. Although ECA comes in small bottle (50ml), it will last at least 22 weeks for my tank.
The math :
10 drops = 0.75ml
30 drops (10 drops X 3 times a week) = 3 X 0.75ml = 2.25ml per week
So 1 bottle (50ml) = 50/2.25 = 22 weeks
and chelated iron a long with some beneficial organic acids, I am OK with this.

isaacgoh,
Yes, it is the same tank. Posted about it on 'another' forum a while back.
I have been keeping E. Cinereum since this tank setup. Initially only bought two of this plant. But manage to propagate it to 9 baby plants. Very very beautiful plant. Early this plant looks very sad as shown in the picture below. Like want to 'cabut' and throw away. But with patience, soon the E. Cinereum produce many many baby plant at the base.

About using ADA liquid ferts, I must say the brighty K added daily is quite expensive. According to the dosing instruction, 1ml per 20liter, so for my tank I have to dose at least 10ml daily. Right now I am dosing 5ml instead. Have been looking for the alternative.
As for Brighty Step series, I am ok with it. If you do the math actually it is quite reasonable compared to other liquid ferts brand. Later I will try to provide details math on it.

callisto168,
How much do you dose Brighty K daily for your 2.5 ft tank?. Why do you want to skip Step1 to Step2?. How old is your tank anyway? There is a reason why ADA makes this Step series...as for me go slow and steady...don't want any problem later, algae esp.

medowance,
if yamatos always hiding, there is something off in your tank. at least that is what a guy, jsenke said in the aquatic plant central forum.

standoyo,
i mus agree with you, too many type of plants. I just can't resist it, want to try all..hehehehe..

Best Regards

Thanks
