I think colour makes not much difference...
1) cement and blue colour tank has the same result
2) if we have carpet algea, the wall will be very dark colour already no matter what background it has
3) when you use green water, the effect is the same.
also, when you mentioned brown water, it is actually another type of floating algea according to 伊東 website. Vincent is doing the translation at the moment and will be readied soon. I thas more or less the same effect with the green water. Some poeple might think it is the dead floating algea and actually it is not. it is in the "red algea" catagory if not mistaken.

may i know what is the red algae?. it's good or bad algae?.how do it multiply?.thanks.
