read quite a few wrong post of strain in some forums' gallery or sale section.for example
enang eruption for sale(with spotted snake pic)my humble tiger(with checker pic).what causes these things happen all the time?for what i think is breeder or hobyist sell their fish while fishes r too young n those people actually bought the throwbacks.
i personally think that discus r not suitable to sell while too young especially spotted fish.these strains r having quite a number of throwbacks which should be culled off when they reach to certain size.false selling may cause dissapointment for buyer especially beginer n yet it will spoil the name of breeder as well.it is also some wrong post of sale like; 1" lss for cheap sale,5 cents size super melon for sale.beginers bought them n found out only after 1 or 2 year trying to show off their fishes in the forum.how will they feel?what can they do?i myself were having the same experiance while i started this business n found out fishes were not what i want after sometime.i knew nothing while i bought the fishes with a so call expert friend help.so,who to be blamed?breeder,my friend or myself?
what im trying to say is,wasting of money might not be a big problem,but the time,the efforts that ve been paid r the biggest lost n the dissapointments may cause a person to quit the hobby.
