U are free to keep what you like.... some ppl just state their preference, just like u did. No quarrelsome over this and that... and the issues of hybridisation has been discussed in so many boards that there would be no end to it. Some are for the better in the case of mammals so that they are genetically stronger etc. It's right down to individual preference.

However, ur examples used is a whole misconception of hybridisation. Hybridisation as you brought it would not be people of mix parentage. People are humans and we are all under the species of Mammals.... hybridisation in this context would mean a human screwing a chimp or a donkey or an elephant. So offsprings produced are mutts. In the fish world its rather complicating, hence the question is raised often.... what constitutes a species ?
