Some are for the better in the case of mammals so that they are genetically stronger etc. It's right down to individual preference.
However, ur examples used is a whole misconception of hybridisation. Hybridisation as you brought it would not be people of mix parentage. People are humans and we are all under the species of Mammals.... hybridisation in this context would mean a human screwing a chimp or a donkey or an elephant. So offsprings produced are mutts. In the fish world its rather complicating, hence the question is raised often.... what constitutes a species ?

Asian cross with Angmoh is equivalent to Cichlid cross with other cichlid. If their chromosomes not ngam, cannot breed one. For example, if man cross with cow, u can't get a MANCOW. So the same is for Cichlid cross with Labryinth fish, cannot breed one. Only those within the same genetic makeup can cross. Can Man cross with an Orang hutan? No way cos although they are mammals, they cannot breed successfully. Can cichlid breed with Arowana since they all fall into the category of fishes? But if Cichlid can cross with cichlid, means within same family. As much as there are many pure cichlid hobbyists, there are equally, if not more, others who accept hybrids. No winners, no losers.
