oh.. i get wat u mean.. but isnt the green water have bad smell? cos i remember last time when i rare guppy and swordfish, i do put some plant and leave it under the sun.. then the water grow with greenish stuff and eventually end up the whole tank in green colour.. some fish die thuogh.. the algae attack the plant aso.. it is a disaster for me heh..

hey joeybugg, beside of betta.. u rare other fishes like small fishes, guppy, swordfish, Cichlid? cos im thinking of setting another tank for these fish.. setting it with havin plant inside without filter and put it outside.. i fail last time.. hopefully someone can guild me through..
