No problem man.... In order to breed melano males, there are only 2 types of crosses that can be done:

1. Cross melano male with irids female (Royal Blue, Turquoise, Steel). Irids line are the color where the fishes are the best "melano" gene carriers. But do note that if you cross with any other color other than steel, the irids are will definitely be found even in the fins.

2. Cross melano male with melano female. Although melano females are reputed to be infertile, it is not ALL of them... most are... So if you have the time, space, and patience, then you could try breeding the fella against each and every female in your melano spawn.

Do try your hand with David's turq. Knowing his line, it would definitely have very strong melanism.
