but i did happen to watch 1 die he kinda faces straight up swam to the surface and acted like he was breathing off the top of the water and kinda floated back down and hit the gravel i sat thinking he might get up and swim away and he didnt i left him there till the next day to make sure and he was still there.

well..i aplogize for the late reply. its diffcult to know what happen.i presume it could the the problem with your water parameters.
angels are very hardy cichlids...they dont just die off like that. i ve seen angels kept and spawn in pollutted tanks...water than is greener than grass.
so from what u describe it could only be the water parameter.
is your tank an old established one ...do u have any other fishes in?
if u had fishes in them then your angels wouldnt had die...if they did then they did not aclamitise to it. angels dont just die off like that because of diease.....since diease take time to kill an angel and usually they do show signs.

guess its too late to save your angel...but here is what u could do in the future.
im sure u know how to choose a healthy fish , when u put them in your car ...always put them next to u...so could keep an eye on them...never in the booth.
when u set the bag in the tank fo 30 minutes...all u did was to stabllize the temp. next time pour in a glass of tank water into the bag. after ten minutes, take out a glass of water from the bag, the add in a glass from tank into the bag...do this repeatly for every ten minutes..several times over.
one other important thing...never ever feed your fishes on the day of arrival...let them get used to their new tank for a few days...only then feed them
remember...fishes will never die of hunger, some are know to go for weeks without food. they will only die from our own error.
