The Cynotilapia Afra "Hai Reef" is a cichlid originating from Lake Malawi (one of the Rift Lakes in East Africa). Classified under the Mbuna group of Malawi cichlids. The above species is a geographic variant of the Cynotilapia Afra species, and is found at Hai Reef.
