Dom do have a nice moss tank and according to him before....water change is very important to keep nice mosses and if possible....provide a more cooler water temp of abt 25-26 C......ummm will perform trial and error on this....if dun try we never know where we got wrong but also we need some guidance from more experience members ya....So Thanks Ari+ Dom + others...Without guideline or tips...newbie like me would not know what's wrong or right...haha...

slow redundant growth and yellowish colour?....hahaha ...same problem with me.....but at least i knew why they are in this pityfull state.
in my case....i have them mixed with my red plants...and my main attention was getting the reds in good shape...the java moss getting its second class statues.
the java moss as u could see in my photos especially those which where tied high up are in yellowish colour...more likely ..LUUNG!..while the ones on the background are doing ok.
the reason......i have some serious lightings for this setup.....with reds in mind(150W for this 3 footer) while the reds are doing well, the moss is having a hard time with this high powered lightings...the one in the back ground is not getting as much light as the one in the middle , thus they are growing fine.
besides the moss in the middle wont be there for long...not after i get my hands on some more reds species.
but if have an all moss setup ...things would get easy for u ...since u are paying attention to moss only.yes ...they do well in cooler water temp...lightings would not be a big issue too.
drop by Tmn Putera whenever u are in cheras...im sure there would be a bag full of tips the plant sifus there could give u....and im not one of them...hehehe...i just tag along for the kopi-o
