As per my knowledge Sera long term fert is a nutrient rich substrate and can be use alone. Why we need to purchse Holland gravel and mixed with Sera long term fert?
If mixed can you please advise how we can do it?

Thanks.
Sure u can use Sera Long as substrate alone.......50 bucks says u will have a carpet of algae within 2 weeks.

as u said its nutrient rich...what plants do u have that extract that nutrient from the top surface????...MR ALGAE.

holland sand is use to cover the nutrients...if your plants are healty the roots will find its way to those nutrient.

mixture....fill the bottom of thank with 2 inch of holland sand...then ...pour in the long term fert...in 3 footer...a 5kg pack would get u an inch in thickness...on top of that ...put in 2 inches of holland sand.
