Ari, my glosso last time also used to grow like yours but a bit thicker. Can really see difference in growth pattern. On holland sand they tend to grow like one long strand in one line, but on ADA soil it spread in all direction. But my old set up although no ADA, got co2. With ADA soil, it's really taking off, even without co2 really becoming carpet. With co2.. I think now become jungle adi. I prefer the light apple green of fast growing glosso. Looks nicer to my eyes, dunno why. Eh what's that's towgay plant in the second pic?

I don't think my tank overstocked lor, I got 8 yamato, 2 german blue rams, one male sturisoma panamese, 3 rosy barbs. 2 flying foxes, one tiny otocinclus, 2 vaillanti chocolate gouramis, 1 male molly, 1 male platy, 2 silvertip tetras and one bumblebee goby. That's it. My tank is 4 x 2 x 2. All my fish small small.. not much bioload. Biggest fish also whiptail(about 6.5 inches), he makes sure my glass no algae at all. I feed very sparingly one, normally two cubes of bloodworms. Gone in 15 minutes. Yamato and snails make sure everything cleaned up. I read a pamphlet from dennerle. The pamphlet say feed bloodworm can cause algae? Got such thing ah? Or is it old grandfather's story?
