Good question....but i have no good answer for u ...simply coz i myself cant be sure what its true name ...i know its Marsilea, but marsilea what?...could be marsilea hirsuta, or minuta or quadrifolia. the thing about marsilea is when they are in the transitional period, they all look like glosso...in single leaf stem.only after they had fully develop can we tell the different species....and to name my plant now would only be inviting fire from the sifus here...but then i dont suppose they too can tell the difference...
this is M.minuta
Quadrifolia
this is M.hirsuta in emerge form....this one is from Bandung RI
Grandfather story or not ..i also dont know ...but not all grandfather story are tales...there are some truth in most.
in one of my planted tank i have 100 cardinals...i feed them once a week.
hehehe...save cost la.
then again i have seen tanks with plenty of fish , the owner feed like crazy but no algae, while other tanks with no fish yet algae is having a Woodstock party there...the story is uneaten food will surely encourage algae.
