Yes, normally I wouldn't touch them. But since I have a few more brood coming. It's time to experiment, if I don't do it, I won't know.

I tried to be as gentle as can be, it just put the net near the female, she crawled on to the net, then slowly i move her until she climb into the net herself, all this done inside water without taking her out. That's why there shouldn't be much stress in the catching activity I did last night. More worrying is how she will react to the confinement area in the same tank.
