Ari. Good one. You mentioned this to me the other day, about the PLL. Well, here's my 'add-on' info. Wanted to see if the lights did kacau the tank...angled the lights a bit, adjusted the placement a bit, tried to diffuse the light a bit and ... the tank is doing much, much better. Compared to 2 weeks ago, I would say my tank now has about 5 - 10% algae only. And this is where the light kena the brightest. Now from visual inspection, I think only a portion of the 36W light rays shine the tank.

Why didin't I change to FL? Well, since I plan to upgrade my tank anyway, wanted to see how I can influence the plants (play, play). Amazing discovery...for me at least.
