Hard to say... might never be the same again... my dad had a goldfish that swam upside down for ages and looked dead a long time before it actually died... it ate... slept and floated around like a carcass while being alive. Sometimes it seems a good idea to euthanize the fella.

It's not good to continue feeding pellets for an extended period of time. They need a little bit of variety. I ocassionally treat them to a bit of duckweed to help clear their intestinal tracts with the additional fibre. They always eat these with fervour. You might try adding some greens in their diet.

Salt might help with buoyancy issues.. but i've never tried it with goldfish. I don't keep goldfish.. my dad does.
