i have similar problems a week ago. i think it is due to my filter suction got blocked by leaves etc. dump in 6 SAE's. at first they just lying there do nothing. after a few days, it is clearing up. right now left with few long strands of hair algae. i guess there are not eating the long ones. need to pluck it by hand i think.
