I think I'm a lousy farmer

What little i know
24-26C works very well for mosses.[all plants in general for that matter!]
Hi light or low light they grow well.
Hi light you get a lighter/pale green, but if you have hairy algae stick to medium light, Lower the fish load. Put one small SAE. Standby trap!

Moss not picky about fertilisation but co2 important to keep the hairy algae away. EI method works well.
Some flow is needed but not too much. Detritus flying everywhere will cause hairy algae to spread.

Erm lastly... Pat your moss every WC and siphon detritus.
