After using EI and slowly evolving into Lazyman Index(by Stan), I found that there will be problems. Especially when the theory behind EI and LI revolves around resetting your tank parameters after each water change. This can accumulate over a long time until you will one day get some problems. I still believe this EI and LI is for expert only. And you need to stand by test kits to measure from time to time which I do not practice. :P
If I start new tank, I will maybe follow some recommended dosage properly.
I have experienced accidents with EI, but you can try because maybe accidents only happen to me.
