Perhaps it is due to inproper care, the finnage of the giant fries I have are not really good(used to open big big now cannot) and maybe because a few were partitioned in the same tank and water only changed once a week(growth impeding hormones secreted blah blah blah) the survivors did not grow to expectation size(smaller than both parents). However, body structure clearly indicates giant, and theoretically they are 100% giant genos. If you want, I can spare one male(dts left only) to you. Because they are not that big, excellent opportunity to inject other colour finnage whatever since they can be spawned with normal sized betta I believe. Do you have any large not too old male with you? Can exchange. I am using to save 2 of the females left from this giant spawn...trying to prevent egg bound...now pregnant till obstructing swimming a bit....all males I have which are same length not long enough to wrap...they are about 2.3 inch I think...need 2.5 or something to wrap.
