ChinaRyukin,
You have an ecellent setup there.
Don't worry, the carpet algea will definately come. When you change water, avoid scrubbing the tank surface, just use your hand gently rub the surface to get rid of the dirt. If you feel a little slimy on the surface, most likely you notice green during the next water change.
And you can drag water change 1 or 2 days longer to express the process.
If rain water trouble you. use PVC transparent sheet to cover it around 30-40 bucks a sheet (20" x 60") from hardware shop (used for roofing). Sunlight can go thru as well as blocking the rain. But remember to leave around 4" gap for air circulation. elevate the covering material by wood or something workable.
You fish looks great. Now I know the ranchus are in good hand. Keep on the good work. Maybe you can elimanate the 2.30 pm feeding and instaed increase the feeding for the earlier 3 times.
Ain't it's nice the baby comes to say hello when you giving blood worm? I can't explain the feeling... but I bet you are experiencing it now. And the amazing thing it the process you watch the grow.
Have fun! and keep up the good work! Salute!!!
