Hi Jason. You must be proud of your tank. A with plants reaching water's surface, I'd double check to see if your current lighting is enough. IME, when my light was too strong and caused algae on the bottom of the tank, I got some plants to provide some shade. Worked well... except, algae bloomed on the plants lining the surface. Of course you can still try. Maybe you have a greener finger than me. LOL
