yes.. one drawback on DIY CO2... cannot be turn off at night...
But the last time my ricca bubbles a lot... should have enough reverse O2 at night to keep the fishes and plants breathing at night...
Once...I overhead one customer at 88 marine..this one is darn funny... he got a 3 ft tank with 100+ tetras...( in my opinion it is a little bit over crowded..) ..
what he did was have 2 timers.. one for the lights and another when the lights goes off.. the air pump turns on to pump O2/air into the tank...
Or else a few tetra floats the next morning... and the shop ppl told him 100+ tetra on a 3 ft tank... no problem...
