care to share how to convert hc cos i propagate submerse is submerse n emerse is emerse. they multiply a lot but when i try to convert either one to the other way round they never succeed. some advise perhaps...  |

from emersed is easy. I can said all of my emersed HC can grow directly to submersed without melting. No matter it is inside the ADA soil or holland sand with base fert. Providing with strong lighting n CO2. of coz temperature is another important issue. I am trying to maintain at 26-27C.
From submersed to emersed a bit tricky. First few try was dry up. Due to no cover. Try to get the fine sand mix with the clay or any base fert. If sand and clay ratio is 50:50. If sand and base fert is 70:30. water level must above the HC. Cover it with any transparent cover or cleanwrap. Put it under indirect sun. Remember to make few holes for them to breath.
Must check every few days to make sure the water is not dry up. Make sure the soil is wet all the time after 2-3 weeks.
