Wild peruvian scalare they imported a while ago. Exports out of Peru call their scalare "Altums", but there are no true altums in Peru (only Columbia and Venezuala).

U can get altums from XL by special request. Speak to Rock Lim (manager), but he will want u to take the fish the day they arrive straight out of the box. They will not hold the fish or take any losses. For the record, the price is pretty good, but the survival rate is abysmal.... and I mean REALLY abysmal. :S Try it if you think u can get a bargain, but my suggestion is to only buy altums that u can see surviving in a dealers tank for over a 2 week period to guarantee survival.

Also for the record, it is not uncommon for importers of this fish to get over 90% casualties on these wildcaught altums. Seriously not a fish for the faint hearted.
