Maybe due to lack of macro nutrients, Nitrates, Phosphate & Potassium, the NPK. Have to verify your
PMDD contents..up a bit CO2 too..

here or use a very cool stoking density calculator, under the tool menu, at the same website..have to register for free first though...but basically 1 inch for 4.5 liters...1 inch of adult size fish...
