True colours
I guess that some fish may take a longer time than the others based on natural selection (survival of the fittest). Others may not show colour as there are too many other dominating fish. But something that I've learnt is that if we wait long enough, they do show their true colours. Now, 5 out of 7 have the blue-green hue on the body and 2 have some red on their fins (normal, kah?)
I suppose we need to provide the proper environment if we want them to show adequate growth. Time for the Cichlid course for us, CC. I think most of us cant upgrade our tanks too often. We need to home in on the species that we like or one that suits us.
Thanks to CC for the reliable imports. I hear that we have a few new additions to the cichlid interest, like me. The others, are they still around? I should think that once we have gone through the learning cycle, we will pick and choose what we fancy.
