Marlieri at rm16? wow..are sure its not transcriptus or dickfeldi? the thing about julies is its almost imposible to tell the sexes until they matured, usually the females are larger than males. so many soh hai greedy buy big ones thinking bigger one must be males...hehehe.
if the ones in AI is marlieri, then dun wait just buy therm. they are superb fish to keep. the way they swim is really funny...not like dashing there and here like most africans ( thats the reason why i never keep AC..coz they swim like orang gila, not an inch of class) . malieri will swim like a helicopter, move up and down, side ways, and even swim upside down...its really fun to see them swim.
they mate for life, and once a pair is establish ...NEVER EVER change your tank decoration, coz that will start a fight and most cases the female will kill the male.
so this fish is not really suitable for novice aquarist...
